If you have left over paint, you can do small touch ups.If you are going to paint the entire place or a whole room and need to buy paint, you could ask them if they prefer grey or beige or pick between two colours, but be prepared for them to then ask for something completely different.

He did reach the subfloor in two spots, but there was lots of the stock {base} colour showing where the finish layer was scratched through.  ... and this was commercial grade vinyl plank.
