I know for a fact that Chase has an internal condo approval process for all loans being sold/brokered to them. https://selling-guide.fanniemae.com/sel/b7-3-03/master-prope...For FHA, the guidelines are FHA 4000.1.Also, this: https://www.hud.gov/press/press_releases_media_advisories/hu...Long story short, condos are becoming increasingly difficult to finance.

Apparently they should be brick pointing with lime mortar, but instead, they said the city will just plaster over the historical materials (original brick and lime mortar) with Portland cement because it's cheaper, faster and easier than working with more delicate, temperature sensitive lime mortar.

I agree with Colin, everyone's circumstances are a little different and while I would take feedback from non-CPA I would only trust a CPA with questions that are that delicate.
