I think not knowing which area is best for investing in a remote city is a challenge, I am trying to find that out about Charlotte and hearing many conflicting opinions from different realtors as far as figuring out which area is good for investing.

I guess my question is that would it people see it as a conflict of interest, and if so what conflict would it be?

------------------Regarding an agent working with/for several different investors and being an investor himself -- We (my wife and I are agents and investors) have been working with several investors for a number of years and cannot recall even one time that there was any kind of conflict regarding a particular property.The reason, I think, is because everyone's business model is a little different and everyone is on a little different schedule.

I've asked 2 brokers I know and got conflicting feedback.  

I keep coming across conflicting information and am getting very confused.

And we DO NOT raise funds from our students or sell assets to them as both are conflicts of interest. 

Most Professional Property Managers do everything; collect rent, schedule maintenance, pay taxes, pay mortgages & HOA dues, process security deposit claims, marketing , leasing , on call 24/7, handle landlord-tenant conflict.

Also, know that it is likely to run into snafus with inspections because ADUs are still new and each jurisdiction interprets things differently, sometimes in conflict with state law.
