Thanks, the catch is I did most of the work myself, subbed out a few projects like full bathroom re-do :/It was a huge learning experience, but now I feel more confident in both understanding the scope of various projects, and working with contractors for the future.

Most contractors have been burned so they should know how to secure the place.

@Mark Shelstad I have an excellent roofing/siding contractor I can refer your way. 

All of the contractors are jacking up the prices in Panama City, so this might be a hard time to buy unless you have your own crew. 

Have you had a contractor (preferably with experience in fire damage) look at it?

MY QUESTION, why wouldn’t they disclose any of the hazards such as a former flood downstairs due to a leak, or mold in the bathrooms that they tried to hide durIng viewIng or the fact of needing a roof change and updated electrical work.

Simple cosmetic updating - LifeProof flooring, paint, ceiling fans in living room and bedrooms, electrical switches/outlets, and updated light fixtures.
