You should be able to easily see the information on the online application.This is standard with most services that have an online application integrated with a screening service.Some services are screening only, where you would need the tenants information from another source.However to manually pull a credit report you would likely need to go through a on-site inspection.

I'm not sure taking a few classes at the local community college and passing a simple test (forgive me, I'm a licensed engineer) is going to transform someone into a bastion of integrity and honor.Of course I don't think it is ok for someone to take advantage of an old person.

Only you can answer which person you will be.Very true statement the folks in Know personally in the education industry will say that over 80% of those that pay for training never really implement what they are taught.. with many just residing to the fact that its just easier to buy some rentals or invest with pro's  IE syndication  REITS etc.. its tough and hard work to be a fully vertically integrated real estate entrepreneur.
