I would take detailed photos and date them, of every door, floor, wall, wood trim, vent covers, anywhere dog or cat could reach or destroy.

Many items' labor overlaps, so doing the job as a whole allows me to bundle together labor and get a lower cost than if I was called in one day to put up trim, another day to do floors, another day to paint the trim, etc etc.

@Kyle Rosseau - I have some colleagues who swear by rock gardens, since it is low maintenance and just needs to be sprayed with weed killer every now and then.Plants will need trimming jobs around them, or grass and weeds will grow up around them.
