Obviously I don't know the specific conditions of your market but generally the MLS offers the widest exposure combined with Zillow, Trulia, Realtor, etc. and similar large sites (there are always exceptions).

All that has to happen is that the bank does want to have a hotel loan on their books any more, your financials do not meet their then current underwriting guidelines, the bank has been sold and the new owner no longer offers hospitality loans, the bank has a concentration in commercial and/or hospitality loans and regulators are requiring them to reduce their exposure, etc.

Keep in mind that you can always get exposure to foreign real estate as an asset class, via REITs or other passive instruments, without dealing directly with language barriers, time zones, logistical issues (14+ hour flight), etc.
