That would be a scenario where a HELOC is better because the balance is at $0 for that year and you probably only have some trivial $75/year maintenance fee.BofA/Citi/Chase/etc have great HELOCs.

Regarding life coaching I like the book by Tony Robbins "Awake the Giant Within" and audio recordings by Les Brown and Jim Rohn If you drill for skill on the basics, and you keep your head straight without chasing "shiny objects", you should do just fine.
