I have interviewed several solo agents who work at exp/real and that is where I think they fall short.

I would suggest interviewing multiple mentors/coaches and see which one is the best fit.  

Recently, I was watching an interview with a Billionaire in which he mentioned that everyone who has become a billionaire has done so by creating their market.These got me thinking a lot about real estate and the different niches that can be scaled.

They were fairly highly rated, and performed well on my extensive screening interview (we went over an hour).

It was pretty much an interview.

In the future, when you deal with any RE professionals make sure to properly "vet" them by reading reviews, conducting phone interviews, speaking to previous clients ,etc.

If you call me for an interview I may or may not show up. 

It's also helpful to interview a few candidates to see who you feel most comfortable with in terms of understanding your goals and who can offer practical advice tailored to your investment strategy.Make sure to ask about their experience with real estate investors, their fee structure, and whether they have dealt with setting up similar business structures.

And if someone is very successful in real estate they would not have time to mentor someone, especially someone they do not know and do not interview to judge if they think they are a right fit (and just take your money)
