A couple of us up here in the Bay Area are figuring out if someone could drive down a truck with supplies but I'm donating money first.

I do manage the books for a couple of my own businesses that are under the main business. 

Over the years, however, we’ve found that we end up coming down to Orlando quite a lot, especially in the last couple of years, and we end up staying in vacation rentals (Reunion, Championsgate, Storey Lake typically).I would love to simply pull equity from the current property but given that it’s a long term rental and we are Canadians, from what we understand it’s not an option for us.we love reunion but I feel that would probably not be the best for ROI.  

The GC is likely at least a couple of more thousand dollars.  

It is maybe a couple hundred dollars to join and you can attend numerous classes and meetings.

If I had to choose a couple to look into first, it would be House Hacking, Mid-Term Rental, Short-Term Rental, and BRRRR.

I remember a saying someone told me a couple of decades ago that convey's to real estate investing: "If you've been sitting at the poker table for 15 minutes and you can't figure out who the patsy is, you're the patsy!"

How to Invest in Real Estate and The Book on Real Estate Investing are a couple great books published by bigger pockets. congrats on taking the first step.
