When you shop at a supermarket for toothpaste and are deciding which brand to use, do you realize most brands are owned by the same company?

I fill a small trash can with toilet paper, papertowel, travel size soap, toothpaste, a decent amount of feet pads for furniture, a new carbon monoxide detector( to keep), a  six pack of water and cokes. 

I'm not saying buying real estate should be as simple as buying toothpaste, and I get the idea of title clouds, but there HAS to be a better system than the one we have in place.

But a few years ago I challenged myself to buy NOTHING but the "needs" (toilet paper, toothpaste) for an entire year.

It's only about the size of a long toothpaste box.
