I wanted to buy abandoned apartment buildings in the Lower East Side before it became the trendy neighborhood it is today.I stumbled upon Bigger Pockets while researching and doing my due diligence on the Renatus Investor Training Program or as it's referred to here, the "Gurus".

Is it vacant/abandoned?

Post an abandonment notice and a 2 days if it seems to be empty of people but not stuff. 

West of MLK blvd and route 40 (which is a part of west Baltimore) has a great deal of abandoned houses.

I would second what @John Warren said - I have looked at several half-done projects in my area and my first question is why are they abandoning this - aside from whatever the given reason is.

I never did notice of abandoned property to tenant.

I've been driving and sending letters to abandon or boarded up homes but wanted to try something else. 

I may have to abandon Brooklyn investments and head to the Bronx.  

Look for abandoned or vacant homes then start sending letters to those owners.
