They are most concerned with the amount of return that can be realized.  

After having several discussions with other swappers, I realized that many of them are using 2nd homes, or vacation homes for additional benefits.My question for the BP community is whether there is an investment strategy anyone has used in this arena, or is it really just for recreational use of a vacation home?  

That I can read to understand how I can make the realized income of my wife and I less.

And now that I've learned more about real estate investing, I've realized that when I add the HOA ($430), property tax ($300), insurance ($50) and property management ($70), with rents around $1350, the best case scenario is a property that cash flows $500/mo after 20 more years of losing money on the property when the property is free and clear.  

The more you hear the podcasts and read these books you will realize that "overcoming the financing side" isnt the hurdle you think it is now.

I realize there are “100 point checklists” and “proprietary algorithms” but honestly, what do they have that the CMBS lenders don’t have?

Yeah, I didn't realize that we were talking a $10 difference, but my insurance agent also pointed that out to me today.

My mistake, I just realized that the C-corp becomes the investor once a ROBS arrangement is funded, not the 401(k).
