I went to this "Remodelers Outlet" store in Fall River MA, and they offer cabinets from a brand called Wolf.  

This will get you experience in remodels and much lower down side than a normal flip because you are literally living in the house (so you know exactly what is going on and 0 travel time) and you are utilizing a low down payment, low rate program like a VA loan.

I will definitely be looking into this one the remodeling completes.

Something that is a new build or recently fully remodeled you can get by with a lower number.

I have an FHA on my rental, and will be rolling my current rehab to a VA loan upon completion of the remodel.

I have an opportunity to purchase a 3/3 there completely remodeled for around 175k..Branson has 9 solid months a year of rentable opportunities and I am just wondering if anyone has experience here.Thanks!

We purchased another house and are finishing remodeling it and have about 20k left to spend to finish and move it (cabinets and countertops) and this will be our primary residence.  

Short backstory; I’m a licensed builder in MI and have been on my own for 1.5 years completing structural restorations, insurance claims (roofs, siding, floods, etc), and about 15 or so bathroom remodels.

That chuck of change could go a long way towards renovations like a small bathroom remodel, interior painting, or new flooring, etc. if you choose to sell at a higher list price. 

Build a portfolio of routine service call tasks and light remodels with actual costs that your Clients can compare to outside vendor's similar work.
