Branson , MO, STR Strategy

Hi everyone,

Just out of curiosity and specifically to the STR investors, has anyone considered or has invested in Branson, MO? I live in Kansas City and have been visiting Branson for the last 15 years but it seems like it has remained a hidden gem for investment purposes. With over 9 million visitors a year and considered the Las Vegas of the Ozarks I would think this would be a no brainer. I have an opportunity to purchase a 3/3 there completely remodeled for around 175k..Branson has 9 solid months a year of rentable opportunities and I am just wondering if anyone has experience here.

@Caleb Brown I went under contract and closed on mine March 2020. That was initially scary, but ever since then everything's been phenomenal. The market has bounced back from Covid and all things are go in terms of tourism. I worked at the same company as @Tyler Henry on the Real Estate Services team and recently relocated to Branson to become an agent and look for deals.
