I went with an allure plank in "country pine" for my kitchen of my current rehab.

I also have been fond of whispering pine (a muted light green) for living rooms and dining rooms.

Primary for durability (oak) cause it doesnt ding and dent like soft wood,,,and 6 panel is LESS prone to fist damage/holesIf I were going to paint white maybe a 6 panel pine door would be just as effective and a little cheaper.What style of door and 'trim' is in style these days?????
