As an interior designer I usually charge 10% of the overall budget to workup overall design idea (kitchen & bath layouts, floor plans/adjacency matrix, color & paint finishes, cabinet color & style along with countertop & flooring suggestions) or hourly to draw things up and take you shopping.

Easy access to the freeway/airport.

I recently purchased vacant land at auction and believe my best course of action will be offering the property to the adjacent property owners.

This may result in flooding the houses adjacent to it, as the detention pond is supposedly in the lowest lying area within the complex.Anyways, I’m trying to find (and curious to know from others) how any detention pond performed during Imelda 2 days ago.

Areas like on a main road, backed up to a freeway, in the landing flight path of an airport.

In particular I m interested in a new build of 2 single homes in adjacent lots. 

My quick stab...Steamboat Springs, CO (Southwest just started flying here, ranked best ski town last year)Summit County, CO (sheer population boom to Denver is no brainer)Lake Tahoe, CA (second home boom in Truckee, Incline Village, etc. areas from mass exodus of Bay Area) Park City, Utah (proximity to airport and large/growing population base)Not sure of #5, maybe Stowe VT (Burlington) area 

It's near the airport just outside Pittsburgh.
