Sacramento property to use by self in a good rental location

Hello all,

I am new to bigger pockets and found the website through Wes’s post. I am new at investing and will be new to Sacramento area. I am taking up a job where I would be working from home and air traveling. I am single 36year old professional women who enjoys walking, local restaurants, bars and living in diverse neighborhoods. Safety is number one and a location where I can easily rent it after several years. I usually like updated kitchen with open floor plan style which has lots of light coming into my home. I prefer condo but can be open to townhouse.  I am not great at handy work but a unit with some old character will be good detail. I have researched areas like east Sacramento, midtown, Davis, Roseville, lands park and West Sacramento. I would be looking to purchase this year. I would appreciate if you could suggest areas or rank above areas and provide any guidelines as this is my first time. I appreciate all the advice. Thank you!
