However we aren't quite where we want to be to build our dream home so we currently rent out the house on the property as well as lease the pasture to a local farmer.

Regret of not chasing after your dreams and passion is another killer.

Having lived in College Station for 4 years, this home sounds like a dream come true and one I would have loved to live in.

The wet dream of every realtor and asset owner outside of CA, is for their asset prices to go as high as CA.

Like most new investors my desire was fueled by my need to be in a better financial position.  20% down was a dream; hell, a bank approving me for a mortgage wasn't realistic, either. 

So many Americans could never dream of being in your position.

I came here to pursue professional soccer and while trying to make that dream a reality, I got my license and registered with a brokerage to work on the commercial side earlier this month.

dont want to ruin any dreams and this isnt to be mean. but to get 10 paid off doors that cash flow like 100 units will take you until your ready to retire. i think the average house in Maine is over 200k. so unless you have a high paying job and can save every penny you have you will have 10 paid off houses in 20-40 years if you are lucky. you can try buying a house that needs alot of work fix it up and then rent it out. that would be the fastest way for growth with this plan

I've never owned a home before, but the dream is support myself on rental income at some point.
