Starting Out in Miami Real Estate

Hi BP community,

I feel like after a few years of casually watching and reading content, I am stepping out of the shadows and ready to take real estate seriously.

To quickly introduce myself, I moved to Miami in August after living in Central FL and before that overseas in England. I came here to pursue professional soccer and while trying to make that dream a reality, I got my license and registered with a brokerage to work on the commercial side earlier this month. I am excited about the opportunity and committed to this year being the year that changes my financial life, but I am quickly realizing I was put in a shark tank without this brokerage prepared to offer me the necessary training to make a way.

Understanding that this industry is about knowledge, application, and relationships I will continue to learn from great resources, attend meetups and virtual summits with my focus being to find off market deals to wholesale while I prepare to step into commercial deals.

Looking forward to engaging with responses to this post
