Looking for a "diet" of books for understanding the broader RE industry and all the moving parts and key players.

I'll settle for sipping diet coke on the tailgate of my 2000 chevy pickup if there is a realistic path to being able to do that with what I have to offer!

I have also seen many fads come and go.

You can do it online (the new hot fad) or the traditional way, offline (which is what we call private equity or a syndication).

Realize it’s the fad to invest out of state and all over.  

There are just those who pretend they do not have those feelings and then those who are strong enough to talk about it.I used to be so poor my diet was Ramen noodles all week long.

Cities will have to manually adjust their code if there is enough support for it to become its own housing segment - until then it's a fad like mullets.There are lots of 1960's and 70's mobile homes that are very serviceable today and in great shape.  

Also, a coupe decades ago, a popular fad came about where people were selling off the back 10-50% of their lot.

It also may be a fad so vacation rental may be the best way to capitalize on it.As a designer there are a lot of possibilities and would be a fun project to take on.

With that said, we have to try - so I've sort of pieced together bits and pieces from experienced investors I've met in person, podcasts, books, forums, information I've heard/seen get brought up multiple times, etc. and tailored it to my style/what I believe will lead to success (for me).I've attached a screen shot of what I'm currenlty targeting, but treating it like a diet/workout plan...
