Peerstreet also does mostly residential debt, has much better loan-to-value ratios, and puts their entire performance online (and to date it's been better than POL).However, before you start looking at sites, you need to consider how you want to allocate your portfolio across different strategies (equity versus debt, residential versus commercial, etc.).

If you’re a high maintenance owner, unrealistic owner or owner that demands certain items outside of the system then your account is really just not worth keeping not only because the PM is now spending way more time dealing with you but because all other client Owners of the PM now suffer because the PM is allocating resources that they would not otherwise have to inside of their system by having to deal with ‘your way’ of doing things.

Another tip I've learned is to open LOC's, borrow against it, and allocate into a vehicle you can access when things get spooky and LOCs start to get shut off.
