I don't want to transfer my properties away from my current manager, but he does not return my calls, and makes me feel like I am a bother when I express my concerns.I was so very pumped up to get into investment real estate, but now that I am having huge monthly payments for my taxes, mortgages, and insrurance, yet rarely am I getting rental income, I fear I am on the wrong path.If there are any property managers or investors that work in Hammond, Gary, Hobart, or Merrillville that could offer me an experienced opinion, I would be grateful.

I had a tenant who "generously" told me (leaving owing me a months rent) that he left me one of those stupid barbecue grills along with a really heavy headboard (no foot board), a large and broken set of bedroom drawers and a TV table also broken down.I was supposed to be grateful that I had to haul this crap to the curb all because it wouldn't fit into his U-Haul.About the only entertainment with all of this is that the rental is in a neighborhood where folks come by and pick up this stuff like vultures picking over dead bodies.

I used to meditate every night, write in a grateful journal, plan my next day and visualize my future success.

I could also use some help in how to properly structure the deal at the start.There is plenty that I don't even know to consider at this point, so highlighting things I have missed would be great.If anyone is looking to provide some mentoring I would be beyond grateful.
