Maybe that note got sold 2-3 times and is now with someone far away and they don't want to pay $2000 to a foreclosure attorney and $2000 in back taxes to save a note worth $5000 and get a 1978 single wide back in their portfolio to mess with.Obviously there can be all kinds of exceptions to any of this....but they seem to be more the needle in the haystack than common finds.
