New Los Angeles Member looking to Invest in Arizona

Hi my name is David, I'm from Los Angeles, California, and looking to invest real estate. I've been helping out my family doing property management, for around 5 years or so and I know the business fairly well. Now I'm hoping to start a new family of my own, and would like to grow my own business in the same way, however, I'd like to start in another state (currently looking into Arizona since it is driveable distance), since California requires a lot of capital to invest here.

I want to make enough money in real estate in order to:
-be non dependent on my job
-take vacations with my wife and family

I'm looking to build my real estate team in another state other than California, since it is expensive to invest in. First, looking for out of state investors who can introduce me to their areas and willing to work with me, and who I feel that I can trust. Then, looking for real estate agents in that area to start purchasing properties!
