Most DSCR loans allow LLCs to hold title and sign the note.

In regards to Detroit, all signs point to growth but now with Trump in office I'm very nervous- tariffs on Canada would really hurt us.

Weeks later, it was communicated to us that the underwriter wouldn’t accept the ones signed by only one of us – legally binding for LLCs – and required we send amended copies of leases signed by both of us.

INstead of just saying "no" we asked them to check with their credit card company if they offer travel insurance yada yada.. we got a 5 star review form them without giving a refund.

the profit is far less than I typically achieve but this is an awesome cabin (it was owned by a country music star in the past). 

This totally would have been a deal breaker had I known before signing up, but now I'm too far into it to turn back, so I need to make something work.  

If anything, have a small sign in front of the house that says who the builder is and phone number (that's common for contractors to do, and also so that neighbors feel they have some to call if there is dust blowing from the site or whatever), and then you may have people calling you asking about availability (people always want something more that they had to chase and can tell their friends the story of how they got the house). 

You also want every adult to be named on the lease and sign it.
