Key Principles that Guide Me

There are four key principles that guide me:

- Consistency is everything

- Never stop learning

- Take Action

- Value relationships over everything else

1) Consistency is everything

There are multiple things that I do every single day

    - Read – 10+ minutes. I will always be learning.

    - Stretch – I hear about to many people with back pain, I will not be one of them.

    - Workout - At least 15 minutes.

    - Pray - 10+ minutes.

Life is a marathon. None of these things will bring success tomorrow, but with doing them consistently every day, I will wake up in 5,10,20,30,40,60 years and be miles ahead of everyone else.

      2) Never stop learning

There is only growth or decay, there is no middle ground. There will always be room for improvement, might as well keep learning.

        3) Take Action

My mentor taught me this very important idea “Say Yes.” Nothing happens if you don’t do anything.

          - I was scared to ask out my wife when I was 13 years old. She’s the love of my life and we have a baby girl due April 29th

          - I was scared to go to my first real estate investment meetup. I met my mentors and now Partners there.

          - I was scared to invest all of my $ at 20 years old on my first investment property. I “luckily” caught the wave of property appreciation between 2020-2022 which set the foundation of my investment journey.

          - I was scared to drop out of law school In 2021 and go all in on REI, I'm super happy with my decision.

Now, whenever I’m scared/nervous, I take that as a sign that I should probably do it, and that it’s room for growth.

Yes, sometimes it will be a mistake, but that’s how you learn.

            4) Value Relationships over everything

Good relationships will bring you more joy and take you farther than being selfish and/or greedy.

What principles do you live by?
