There is a shared washer and dryer in the basement and a thermostat on the top floor only that controls the heat for the whole house.What are the best ways to split the utilities cost between the tenants?

Keyless entry, Arlo camera at entryway/ driveway, wifi thermostats, leak sensors and a integrated water main shutoff valve.

Like setting the thermostat to 40, or 90.

The HVAC system is all electric heat pump by Ruud.1 thing that has thrown me off our these thermostats located in each room.

There is also a fan system that goes through the vents and is hooked up to the Nest Thermostat that I’ve already installed for the new furnace.

My guess is that this is an operator issue. ie, someone not understanding the thermostat or a switch being off that needs to be on.

I have a Samsung SmartThings hub that manages the thermostat and the lock.

I just put a new roof on it, new HVAC, all new fixtures, new interior and exterior paint, new flooring, Nest thermostat, etc..

Mine can set door codes, message (or call) guests, schedule cleaners, adjust the thermostat, monitor my cameras, & call a plumber just as easily as a local PM can, for 1% of the costI wrote much more about leveraging offshore assistants in this post here.
