My dog was a non-issue in Sweden and Germany and since I've been back in the US I have not rented. 

The last rounds ended with Texas and Germany (Berlin).

I lived in Germany for 4 years and one time I asked the tenants who were moving (they bought a house) to show the apt. for me.  

A little background: I am in the Air Force and I am stationed in Germany.

Other industrialized countries (Germany for example) have a different set of rules and the majority of people there have a much higher quality of life than people in the U.S.A.
