This domain is available and such names are easier to get and google algorithm reads a-b-c.com as abc.com so it doesn't make any difference if you own abc.com or a-b-c.com as long as you have targeted the right keywords with rich content on them.

I would imagine so long as the rent is not hugely undervalued you would end up coming out ahead fairly quickly though by not having to deal with the cost of vacancies every year or two depending on the situation.It looks like all this may be irrelevant though as their agent has stopped responding.
