I guess this time the good guy wins (I wish there was a "sarcasm font").

Though I am thinking more along the lines of a gift basket that says "Hey I like you and I am excited to have you here" rather than something the seems less personal like lease docs and a How to Pay Me guide (shoot I forgot to use the sarcastic font). 

While it is true that not all fonts - particularly older ones whose roots are in English - support accented and other "special" characters, there are many script fonts which do.If you create your own letter internally and provide the printer with an appropriately formatted output (PDF, EPS, etc) are they able to print for you?

If you are good with a computer, you can create the letter on the computer with a handwriting font and then print on an INKJET printer with blue ink onto a piece of yellowpad paper (just the regular old yellow pad paper with lines on it from the office store - take it to the service counter and ask them to cut off the very top of the pad that has the glue stuff that holds it all together).

It's the script for "&" that did not translate properly, possibly because of the font used or something. 

My letters are written in handwritten font on white paper photocopied.

Update on mailers.Mailed out first batch of 150 letters Saturday Night. 50 handwritten addresses and 100 printed with a goofy font.

Keep your eye out to see what is being sent in your area, then maybe make a change here or there (paper color, envelope color, font color, font style, etc.) and test to see what will work for you.Personally, I have been liking a patriotic themed letter.

Most renters I've seen don't read the whole lease agreement (6 pages of 6-pt font) line by line.
