Typically guys who want to be paid for "coaching".

What I saw was more of a sales pitch for his mentoring and coaching services on how to make money in real estate. 

I find myself contemplating the idea of finding mentors or coaches to help me get on my feet.

The only I'd add is find a Lender/Realtor who cater to investors and enjoy coaching their clients.

Looking to see who people have used for business coaching/strategy as well as process development/refinement.

Michael Jordan didn't become the best with out a coach.

These events frequently draw seasoned investors who could be open to coaching novices.Online Communities and Forums: Check out BiggerPockets and other online communities to network with Texas-based real estate investors.

All these “coaches” who do this should be exposed.
