Beginner Seeking Guidance
Hey BP Community,
I am a fresh face in the world of wholesaling and am very eager to learn the ropes. I find myself contemplating the idea of finding mentors or coaches to help me get on my feet. However, I'm unsure if mentorship or coaching is common in the world of wholesaling. Is this something that exists? Have any of you sought out mentorships or coaches as you began you wholesaling journey. If so, what were those experiences like?
I would love to hear stories from those who have successfully found mentors and how these individuals contributed to your success and growth in wholesaling. I would also love to hear any pros/cons of having any kind of mentorship.
Looking forward to your insights and experiences!

I am just getting started as well. I will say that there is a ton of free info online. If I were starting over I would start with Flip with Rick https://home.flipwithrick.com/freewholesaling they have a great starter course that has info that others charge for. Also definitely start building connections in your community, meetings etc. As soon as you feel comfortable that you know enough to chat about what wholesaling is and how it works then start telling people at every opportunity that you are looking for houses to buy. You will end up with connections you would not expect. Feel free to connect with me on here and we can chat if you have any specific questions. I would wait until you know what you need to get out of a mentorship before jumping in with that big a financial commitment. I would want to know exactly what I am looking for out of the arrangement, community, guidance on a specific area that has proven difficult, etc. Best of luck!
