I completely understand how this "Host" could experience these issues, and I can sympathize with their frustration for what it takes to earn "SuperHost" status (for the record, my company does not maintain SuperHost status, but at a mass of 1000+ reservations annually that is not a realistic metric to achieve).

None of them have their own money involved, they have a list of 2800 or so they say, investors that they mass email out a property, they usually get from the one off deals from unsuspecting students who bring in deals in hopes for a collaboration.
