Simply investing, you might try to get a hold of @Denise Evans, she is a member here and use to work with FDIC in liquidations, she should be more than aware of financial note requirements.However, there is another matter, if you're wanting due diligence and underwriting services performed that requires a mortgage brokerage license, attorneys are not exempt from these aspects by the virtue of having a license to practice law and they will not be doing such as a business specialty without the mortgage license.

@Denise Evans is the expert on AL tax liens. 

There're few area that still need to catch up with the trend like oakland,walnut creek and such..... but last 6 month is defintely good to see there's condo to sell for $398,000 ; or a 2/1 Cupertino house for only $1.2 million ; that's like $200 fashion designer blouse is being re-sold in Ross for $50k.
