Crowd funding seems like in many cases the blind leading the blind.Amateur deal makers and amateur investors with small capital to invest salivating over promised fat returns that never materialize.What's better a REAL 10% or a FAKE 20%??

When we go to the closing table with our buyer, there will be a big fat check issued in his name (somewhere in the ballpark of 50k).What I want to know is... wont the IRS look at me funny if I suddenly deposit 25k in one day and try to tax me on it as personal income?

I called my agent before 4 PM, and she called me back to say the other agent still has to get the papers together, she's not got this on the "front burner" because she doesn't expect to get paid, so she's putting other things first...My agent says there's nothing we can do.
