I haven't been given the time extension paper to sign
I was supposed to sign papers today to extend the time on a short sale. I called my agent before 4 PM, and she called me back to say the other agent still has to get the papers together, she's not got this on the "front burner" because she doesn't expect to get paid, so she's putting other things first...
My agent says there's nothing we can do. Apparently there has been no other offer made on the property.
I do have the listing office and agent name. (Of course, so does MY agent.) What can we do to move this along? Both agents say that it's not a necessity that either the seller OR I sign a time extension addendum. that doesn't make sense to me.
Any thoughts?
