Unless there are unusual reasons for you to do so (you are a celebrity, etc), it can be better from a lot of perspectives to choose something besides your name.Beyond the SEO, and potential legality questions, if you look long term, and assume your company is successful and grows, 20-30 years from now, when you go to sell out/retire, it can be more appealing to others to buy XYZ LLC from you, than YourName LLC.

So it might be possible to take out a mortgage plus a separate home improvement loan.It might be possible to take out something similar to a construction loan, where the bank doles out the loot as each phase of repair is finished.I'd be really surprised if you can get a cash out loan for money in your pocket.When I want to do something unusual, my best results have been small local banks that hold their loans in-house.
