The seller went down there himself and muscled them into a different position and did a shotty job fixing the gaps with a universal repair adhesive - duct tape.

My last 5 houses may have had that asbestos tile and glue, however my ignorance was in play and did not know about the tile and mastic tape contained asbestos or really the problems associated with asbestos.

Tear the window security bars out if they don't have a fire release, throw some cheap co/smoke detectors up, double strap the water heater and no duct tape isn't going to cut it (CA earthquake thing), cut the 3 foot weeds back away from touching the exterior wall, get rid of that goddamn chicken seriously a "pet" chicken is not part of a vacant duplex wtf (true story), you know... that sort of thing.

They now have to skew investment into their aging condo complexes through utilizing red tape on single family homes. 

i like 203k loans, but the hoops of red tape you have to go through turns me off on this method.

Nolan Martineau In the city where all my rentals are located - I can tape it to the door and take a pic and that is good enough.

There is so much red tape and they can take years to sell your house and charge ridiculous fees.
