So unless you are willing to gamble with your savings, you do not save much time buying turnkey.

I like to INVEST in real estate, not GAMBLE.....

This also poses risk for short-term mortgages or ARMs.If you're going to hold rentals, my suggestion would be to set a longer-term time horizon unless you feel like gambling...

If you start getting spam or once you are done with that particular add, you can disable that email address and use a different one for the next add!

I receive very little anonymous spam from Craigslist but the local 'investors' are now driving me crazy with buy-my-house spam.

My idea was to send them a professional letter and let them know I'm a new investor that has deals that they may be interested in and to join my mailing list for up to date inventory alerts * for real no spam*.    

That is a huge gamble.

It is nice to see a genuine welcome instead of the cut and paste SPAM that has become common in new member threads.  

*Side note: Remember to put an Opt-Out clause in your emails in order to keep within spam laws and not upset your contacts.
