Hi!! New to bigger pockets and real estate investing

My wife and I just came back from fortune builders three-day conference.  It was GREAT!  It really started motivating us into looking into real estate investing!  We did not sign up as I thought the $35,000 investment is steep, and I figured that we could at least get some training somewhere else....then I bumped in to bigger pockets!! 

PLEASE tell me there is a way to at least get started in investing WITHOUT maxing out our credit cards ( like they wanted us to do)!

Just reading @Brandon Turner book "The Book On Investing In Real Estate With No and Low Money Down".

Legit stuff there man!
Definitely worth the read.
