If you want to invest here you want to focus on raw land or turnkey construction sales, because you would be really lucky to get 1% on anything right now - that's how hot the market is.

Annually that equates to $60kAssuming you can secure investments at 8% Cash on Cash return annually, you would need $750k in raw capital to achieve that today.  

Or expand on a new yet potentially very fruitful venture.

I find those with deep pockets have better opportunities for finding the low lying fruit. 

The raw data is nominal prices, so once in a while I'll dredge up inflation data and look at the inflation adjusted (real) prices.

As your no longer going after the low hanging fruit the competition is scarce as most don't have the funds to focus on these area.

I invest outside the US but not in raw land.

It is a grind but stay the course to reap the fruits you sow.
