Feedback I've received from all the electricians that I've worked with is that knob & tube is fine as long as its in its original state- meaning no splices, cracked/missing tubes, etc. and obviously you also need it connected to an ungrounded outlet

Ie given notice from a tenant of an outlet issue, u ignore it and someone gets injured in the fire they can sure rental LLC as well as u personally.

I like a low voltage outlet with a plate that the tenant can attach an RCA cable to in whatever length they need and it can be removed if its not used by the next tenant.
