There's a standard syndication that goes out to sites like Zillow, Redfin etc that is included when it is listed in the MLS; hence why people can find properties from across the country. 

Those are all people that work for the company.

I'm a full time agent and investor in the area that works a ton with VA buyers and i LOVE helping people house hack, it is definitely my favorite strategy and my passion helping people do it.

It sounds like you might be in the situation I'm in: buying a vacation home that I plan to use as a STR when I'm not using it so that other people can help pay my mortgage.
