The bathtub will need to be refinished.The hardwood floor underneath the carpet looks to be in quite good condition, and should only cost about $1000 to refinish.The painter is due to start work on Tuesday, beginning with scrubbing the walls and ceiling and moving on to primer and paint.

I did a $13,000 rehab, opened  up one porch to the house by taking out sliders and   wall to wall porcelain tile, kitchen, baths, ceilings, all walls baseboards, anyways I am getting $895 and the  list of  applications has several 700+ credit scores.

All it takes is an upset neighbor or tenant to cause huge $ problems.One thing I'd check concerning the ceiling height is if it truly is that height, and that the floor isn't raised or the ceiling dropped.
