Hello guys I had the idea of purchasing a property as my personal residence but renting it out my realtor spooked me saying if the banks find out I’m not occupying the property they could sue me for mortgage fraud any thoughts on this

Lord knows there are tons and tons of already-built developments in the areas you mention, many on sale, so would have to be something really special to attract investors, and even then you're better off approaching Europeans.RE Russia, it is a good time to buy given the strengthening USD and how far the Ruble has crashed (mostly due to oil & commodity prices + the political issues around sanctions and Ukraine).

So either investors are jumping ship or cashing out.With the higher interest rates, inflation, post-Covid travel, Ukraine, recession, etc… some may argue these problems are temporary, but lower occupancy rates, and lower ADR rates are inevitable!

I suppose if the ABA routing number came up as Bank of the Ukraine, that would be a clue?

I do know that some people seemed spooked by the idea of ghosts.

But real estate was a life changer in that I used 30k to adopt my daughter and spent 7 weeks in the Ukraine to do it.

And at this exact moment in time, Russia was pointing their tanks directly at Ukraine.

Some issues popped up that really were not deal breakers at all but she got spooked when the communication wasn't handled up to her expectations.Before doing any property management I was simply a landlord.
