@Lin Chen 1-2 bedrooms rent the best up there. My cabins are both going to be one bedroom that can sleep 4. You can have a much larger cabin that rents for 400-500 but you paid double the price and the occupancy isn’t that high. Getting hung up on price per sq. Ft is counterproductive with these short term rentals.

Couples and small families travel to broken bow from dfw a lot, its an easy drive. There are big groups that go but the occupancy rate on the smaller cabins is higher. I’ve looked at some of the older large cabins that may only be 100k more than what I paid and sleep 3x as many people, but ask the realtor for the rental history and it’s right around what I’m going to be pulling in on my one bedroom
