The residential "investment" was not my fondest moment as I threw about $60,000 into it when I bought before the market burst but the rentals and land have been good as one rental has about 22 months left on the mortgage (both have good cash flow) and I have already recouped most of the expenses on the 50 or so acres of raw land through leasing it out for farming and hunting/fishing rights on the lake.

This is something I'm going through now not being consistent and hoping for the fish to bite after reading this message it puts everything into perspective.

If anyone figures out how to sell my phone number to these  low-ball hustler wholesaler guys and I start getting nonstop fishing calls to SELL to them at stupid prices, I'm going to get increasingly more irate the more they call. 

I think going forward we will ask,"Do you have any non-human animals living with you like a fish, bird, cat, dog, pony, hamster, snake, monkey...do you pet sit, pet foster, run an animal hospital, pet sanctuary…"---------------Always amazed at the people who ask if we will be upgrading things or if we can for them, and they often turn out to be the people who have no prayer of qualifying.

Perhaps they used to have a fish tang ?
