Is it the price, the install, or the dumb stuff like tack strips etc...For where to buy:Big box, local, Craigslist, Angie's list, or somewhere else?

If you don't brick layer installs and then the builder convinces you to accept the mistake.   

Who do you use for carpeting, purchase and install?

This has allowed me to drastically reduce my fees, and I work with companies that can install in local areas. 

Our next door neighbor is deceased, according to property records and we always thought the property is vacant but someone showed up and started throwing bricks at the new sliding door we installed, my workers heard the loud noise and went to check and they claim to see a weapon on his hand and fled the property. 

We keep a window unit in reserve to install in emergency situations.
