I dont mind humping some dirt , and I am pulling the old furnace , and setting the new one .  

I'm new to BP and excited to be a part of such a thriving REI community.I'm an engineer by education/career and looking to design a better life for myself and my children's, children's, children's, children's.I'm a newbie at the REI game, but willing to bust hump to learn the ropes.

For us being ready was moving funds around to make things look good to the banks, change other investments to have move money available for purchase and rehab, paying down all debts  that we could, and getting a good realtor.

The learning curve is massive but once you get over the hump, you'll be so much better positioned going forward.  

And then I have a few projects IE those that are just beginners I watch then reach out and take them on to try to help them get over the hump... just took one on in Indy and I closed 3 deals for him in 30 days and closing two more this morning..

It's a pretty big story on mainland US b/c it's also occurring in southern mainland states.

Hey Jennifer - I also went to the 3-day FB seminar and it was one of the main things that got me over the "hump" of wanting flip houses (for about 10 years!)  

I have been putting a plan in action to start investing in real property and I have reached a hump so I am reaching out for some advice. 

You'll spend most of your time humping drywall upstairs and mixing thinset, but you'll definitely learn a lot.

Update: Kitchen is coming along nicely.Read a tip from another BP'er about a usb outlet so I added a 4 port usb charger to backsplash area  that has seen constant use, great tip!
